Inspired by skies, seas and summits — these in-person workshops offer grounded, embodied spaces for creative reflection and adaptive wellbeing.
Circles & Shadows workshops are reflective, structured, and creatively embodied spaces designed to support noticing, rest, transition, and reconnection.
These are not performance spaces.
They are not therapy sessions.
They are not fitness classes.
They are guided environments where attention, creativity, and pacing are gently explored.
Workshops are available for community groups, retreat programmes, wellbeing initiatives, and private bookings. Indoor and outdoor formats are available.
Some Examples of Available Workshops
🌊 The Tide Journal
A guided reflective writing workshop
A structured journaling session exploring internal “tides” — energy, attention, mood, and change.
Participants are guided through short, contained writing intervals with clear prompts and optional visual mapping. Alternatives to writing (sketching, mind-mapping, symbolic drawing) are always offered.
Themes may include:
Surface thoughts and deeper currents
What feels in flow / what feels held
Cycles of capacity and rest
No writing experience is needed. Sharing is optional.
Available indoors and outdoors.

🐚 Casting Gentle Intentions
A symbolic spellwork workshop
A reflective session using metaphor and symbolism to mark change.
Participants are invited to:
Name something they are releasing or calling in
Choose words, gestures, or natural materials to represent it
Create a small contained symbolic “spell”
This workshop is not religious instruction. It is a structured, creative way of marking transition and intention.
Indoor and Outdoor formats available

🌿 Mindful Mandalas
Art-based reflection
Using circular forms as a container, participants create mandalas that reflect their current emotional or energetic landscape.
We explore:
What feels centred?
What feels scattered?
What feels protected?
Indoor and Outdoor formats available

🌊 Things a Mermaid Might Notice
Field-based noticing practice
A guided outdoor session inspired by slow observation and sensory awareness.
Participants move slowly through a chosen landscape — coastline, woodland, moorland, park, or urban environment — recording small observations through writing, photography, sketching, or quiet attention.
This is not about spectacular views.
It is about micro-noticing.
Ideal for creative reset days, wellbeing retreats, and seasonal transitions.

🌊 Skies, Seas & Summits
Perspective as embodied practice
A somatic workshop exploring how physical perspective influences emotional perspective.
Participants experiment with gentle shifts in viewpoint.
We reflect on how perspective alters narrative and internal story.
Can be run indoors or outdoors depending on location.
