Welcome to Circles & Shadows Blog!
I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
Circles & Shadows is a space for creative therapeutic movement, ocean-informed practice, and embodied wellbeing. I’m a creative therapist, aerialist, mermaid and tea drinker. I work with movement, dance, myth and the sea as tools for reflection, regulation and care.
My work is informed by HICAT (Holistic Intergrated Creative Arts Therapy) training and Ocean Therapy Practitioner principles, alongside a long relationship with the sea and movement.
I believe that creativity doesn’t need to be performative, bound by an output, 'beautuful', 'right' or strenuous to be meaningful. Quiet, intentional practice can be more transformative as any grand performance, production or creation.
Here you’ll find workshops, sessions and reflective practices designed for adults seeking gentler ways to reconnect with their bodies, creativity and sense of self.
From aerial and dance sessions to ocean-inspired journalling and mermaid-informed workshops, my aim is to provide tools and spaces for pause, presence and creative exploration.
If you’d like, you can start small and for free —  with the 14-day Ocean-Inspired Journalling Workbook, which is a quiet companion for reflection and noticing. Join up for the mailing list and the workbook will arrive in your inbox (please check various folder like Newsletters, Social, Promotions or Junk and add us to your trusted list/ address book)
There’s no expectation here — just space to arrive and be.
I hope this site and the practices it shares, offer you moments of calm, curiosity, and connection.
